Flu vaccine centers to open
A total of 29 inoculation centres will start test operations in Hungary and will be open from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m., Health Minister Tamás Székely announced on Thursday.
A fee of Ft 3,000 per inoculation against the H1N1 virus will be charged, which includes the Ft 1,930 retail cost of the vaccine.
Inoculation centres will be open until December 22 in Budapest, Balatonfüred, Békéscsaba, Debrecen, Győr, Kaposvár, Mátraháza, Parádfürd , Pécs, Salgótarján, Sopron, Szeged, Székesfehérvár, Szombathely, Tatabánya, Veszprém and Zalaegerszeg.
All Hungarians are eligible for the vaccination, as are foreigners with residence permits, refugees and asylum-seekers.
Homeless people will be inoculated free of charge throughout Hungary, Social Affairs Ministry state secretary Lajos Korózs told reporters on Thursday.
