Ferihegy Airport introduces new €3.5 million security system
Ferihegy Airport operator Budapest Airport on Thursday said it started operating a new EUR 3.5m security system.
Budapest Airport said the new x-ray machines, metal detectors and other security equipment can inspect 200 passengers per hour, 25-30pc more than earlier.
Budapest Airport also said it hired 100 new security staff to bring the total to 350.
