EU poll ranks Budapest near bottom for resident satisfaction
Budapest has been ranked 61st of 75 European cities for resident satisfaction in a poll for the European Commission conducted by Gallup.
Budapesters are mainly dissatisfied with public sanitation, public transport and the level of noise.
Miskolc, the center of Northern Hungary, came in well ahead of Budapest the 38th place, and Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár), Košice (Kassa), Prague, Zagreb, Ljubljana, Tallinn and Riga also ranked better then the Hungarian capital.
