Eighteen people, including 15 children, were hospitalized following an accident yesterday afternoon caused by a single drunk driver. The crash took place close to Vaja, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in Eastern Hungary.

The inebriated man's car collided with two mini-buses carrying high school kids, most of whom suffered concussions and bruises. The most serious injury, a broken vertebra, was suffered by one of the drivers.

The police have begun legal proceedings against the drunk driver.
