Drug prices falling, says Hungarian health minister
The prices of thousands of pharmaceutical products fell and new pharmacies opened in the past 18 months, Health Minister Ágnes Horváth said in assessing her ministry's achievements at a Wednesday press briefing.
Horváth also noted that hospital waiting lists have become available to the public, while the introduction of nominal medical fees has generated a monthly Ft 180,000 on average for general practitioners and Ft 5-10 million for hospitals.
