Alliance of Budapest designer shops to hold Thursday event

An event organized by an alliance of downtown Budapest design shops called Design District will offer the opportunity to discover the design hotspots of the fifth district of Budapest and to step into the world of Hungarian fashion. On December 17 between 7 p.m. and midnight, Design District will organize the "Stylewalker Night" for the third time, following the success of the first two events where 1,000-1,500 people participated.

The organizers are alluring costumers with discount prices and programs. However, the emphasis is not laid on shopping this time but on the interesting programs, as the basic aim is to "attach fashion lovers into the historical downtown area and introduce them these little fashion and design chancels," writes the official site of Design District.

Every participating store suggests different programs. Buborék will exhibit cakes; visitors of Catwalk may receive makeup as a gift; in Hungaro Ing, guests can taste Hungarian wines, and they will get to know new facts and details about fashion. Csendes, Electic, Forma, Fregoli, Front, Le Parfum, Mono Fashion, Pazicski Showroom, Retrock, Retorck Deluxe, and Showroom Szidonia Szep will also take part in the event.

Due to the late start of "Stylewalker Night," it may be a perfect design destination for Christmas shoppers who would not be able to visit this area of Budapest because of working hours.
