Demszky proposes Budapest Roma culture center
Budapest mayor Gábor Demszky yesterday announced plans to establish a Roma culture centre. He told a Thursday conference that the institution would be similar to the Millenáris Park, hosting Roma fine arts, music and literary works.
The Budapest Roma Authority and the city council signed statements on improving the social, health and employment conditions of Roma living in Budapest.
