Far-right activists will be in the vicinity today when the trial of several Roma accused of "lynching" a schoolteacher in Olaszliszka on October 15, 2006 will move to the scene of the crime.

Roma residents beat the teacher to death after his car pushed against a small girl.

The right-wing Goy Motorists Society ("goy" is a perjoritive Jewish word meaning "non-Jewish") will be in the same village holding a picnic on a private plot of land, which means they have no obligation to report it to the police.

Unofficial reports say that the radical Magyar Gárda will also be attending.

Aladár Horváth, chairman of the Roma Civil Rights Foundation, and László Fercsák, head of the local Gypsy authority, protested against the arrival of the Goy Motorists in an open letter and asked government officials to closely monitor today's developments and take firm action against anyone who disturbs public order.
