Countryside wellness hotels now offering Ayurvedic massage
Romantik Hotel Szidónia, located near the Austrian border in the village of Röjtökmuzsaj, has introduced Ayurvedic treatments based on the traditional holistic Indian healing system. The hotel's wellness department now offers three Ayurvedic massages including body, head and foot massages, as well as a treatment called Shirodhara which involves slowly pouring herbal oil onto the forehead (the "third eye" according to Indian mythology) to help relieve stress.
Bodrogi Kúria Wellness Hotel, formerly called Szent György Kúria, not only received a new name recently but was also expanded with a new wing. The four-star hotel located in Inárcs, 38 kilometers southeast from Budapest, now includes 26 more rooms, a conference hall and a new wellness department with adventure baths (élményfürdő).
