Celebi improves its offer to Budapest airport ground crew
Wage talks between the management of Celebi and labour unions will continue today after the Turkish company raised its offer to airport employees. The company, which is in charge of Ferihegy ground handling for some airlines, including Malév, would offer a 6% base wage rise and an additional 3% performance-based increase for the best-performing 10% of staff.
The Air Travel Workers Independent Union held a strike at the weekend after their demands for a universal 10% wage increase was rejected.
