Car ban planned for the center of Pécs
The local authority of Pécs plans to ban cars from the inner city, writes ingatlanmagazin.com.
Chairman of communal commission László Lajos Sík reported that radical changes are planned concerning central Széchenyi tér from which even transport cars would be banned. Taxi stations and the MP's parking lot at City Hall would be moved, too, and bus traffic would be re-routed. This could, however, only be implemented if the city wins a tender for the transformation of the central square.
