Margaret Bridge to be closed for bomb removal
Margaret Bridge in Budapest will be closed down from 12:00-3:00 pm on Tuesday while a WWII bomb is lifted from the River Danube.
The bomb disposal unit will lift the bomb weighing around 250 kgs from the foot of the bridge in Buda. Nearby areas of Margaret Island and the Danube embankment will also be closed and a residential building on Bem embankment will be evacuated.
Cars will be diverted from the embankment and Becsi Road to Fo Street.
