"The second Budapest Winter Invasion will be between December 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008," government tourism promotion agency Magyar Turizmus chairman Ákos Niklai announced. Under the scheme, which has a budget of over Ft 100 million, guests can spend four nights for the price of three at 70 hotels.

The campaign aims to increase tourist numbers by 15,000 and guest nights by 60,000. The same campaign last year resulted in a further 25,500 guest nights. Airline Malév is supporting the campaign with special discounts.
