Budapest Zoo welcomes Komodo Dragon
A Komodo dragon arrived at Budapest Zoo yesterday from Chester Zoo in north-west England. Among the rarest and most dangerous animals in the world, the creature has been named dragon due to its great size and yellow, forked tongue.
Fully-grown the animals are three metres long and weigh around 70 kg. on average, although the new arrival in Budapest is one-metre long, as it is only 15 months old.
