Budapest welcomes new gorilla

A gorilla was born at Budapest Zoo for the first time in ten years on Wednesday morning.

The gorilla cub and its nine-year-old mother N'Yaounda from the Netherlands are in good health, but have been hermetically sealed off from the outside world for the time being.

 

Western gorillas have been a permanent fixture at the Zoo since 1989.
