Budapest mayors agree to Kossuth Lajos tér garage project
Budapest mayor Gábor Demszky and Fifth District mayor Antal Rogán yesterday approved the construction of underground garages in the courtyard of Budapest City Hall and at Kossuth tér, the latter to be built by the Office of Parliament.
Rogán said "I find it unacceptable that whole streets in the Fifth District are closed off to traffic," referring to the security areas in front of the British and US embassies.
