Budapest botches cycle lane funding application

Budapest has lost Ft 650 million in EU funding for building bicycle lanes because it failed to collect the necessary permits in time. A total of 22km of cycle paths would have been developed in Csepel, Rákospalota and Újbuda. The National Development Agency will again invite bids for laying out bicycle lanes.
