Last call for Terminal 1

Operator of Budapest airport gives closing date for low-cost terminal.

Budapest Airport will permanently close Terminal 1 early on the night of May 29, the operator of Ferenc Liszt International Airport announced yesterday.


Terminal 1 traffic, mostly from discount airlines, will move to Terminal 2. Flights by easyJet, Germanwings,, Norwegian and Wizz Air will depart from Terminal 2B starting May 30.


Flights arriving from the Schengen zone will come into Terminal 2A, and flights from outside the Schengen zone to Terminal 2B.
