Budaörs wedding mall planned for 2009
A new plaza for couples getting married, set to be called Just Married Center, will open in 2009 near Budaörs, writes mfor.hu, based on a report in Világgazdaság. The construction begins in May, says Anna Juhász, project and marketing manager of Immigroinvest Kft. which will make the Ft 7 billion (€28,000,000) investment.
Hungarian stores will not be hosted in the new plaza because the rent is prohibitively expensive. Instead, French, Italian and English companies will be represented on the Hungarian market for the first time. 50% of the stores are rented already, and investors hope that this figure will increase to 80% by September. The store tenants are mostly wedding dress stores, jewelry shops, travel agencies and caterers. The rent for a store is €30 per square meter, and the minimum size for a wedding dress store is 90 square meters.
