On Tuesday, 16 October, after six hours of digging in the woods near Monor, police found the mangled body of two-and-half-year-old Dominik Takács, who went missing two and a half months ago, writes hirszerzo.hu. The parents had originally claimed that he had gone missing on Budapest's Margit sziget.

After having denied his death for months, both to the media and police, the parents of the boy admitted that they had buried his body in the Monor woods. Dominik had been torn apart by the fighting dogs of the family on 2 August, either when he was accompanying his mother to the outhouse toilet, or by having been trapped accidentally in their cage. The parents cleaned up the remains, then brought Dominik's body into the woods, draped in a blanket and diapers.

Deception of the police committed by Dominik's parents is a serious crimes.
