Bird 'flu threat subsides, restrictions to be lifted
All limitations pertaining to the bird 'flu epidemic will be lifted, Farming Minister József Gráf announced yesterday. He expects that he can declare an end of bird flu in Hungary later this week, hirszerzo.hu writes.
At a farmer's forum held in Pétervására on Monday, he said that no infections had been registered anywhere in the country for one month, which means all limitations can be lifted on August 31st.
The ministry will provide further information on that day, he added.
