Belgian man caught robbing church in southwestern Hungary
A 37-year-old Belgian national was apprehended by the police in south-west Hungary after he was observed breaking into a church, a police spokesman told MTI on Monday.
The burglary happened over the weekend. The man forced open the collection boxes in the Catholic church in Kaposfo and stole the coins in them, but he was observed by the organist. The organist then followed the thief and alerted police, who apprehended him.
He is being charged with theft.
