Hungarian celebrities will be auctioning their personal belongings on an internet bidding site to raise funds for children with leukemia.

The first auction of its kind - involving actors, musicians, comedians, and other household names - kicked off on October 12 on Hungarian auction site teszvesz.hu. Clothes, mugs, signed books and CDs, a coin collection, watches, a deck of cards, and even a trumpet - to name just a few items - will be on offer for the highest bidders.

All funds will be donated to the Together for Children with Leukemia Foundation (Együtt a Leukémiás Gyerekekert Alapítvány). Those unable to take part in the online auction but who wish to make a donation call 06-91-33-45-45 or send the word SZTÁR in a text message to the same number between October 12 and November 16. In both cases, a donation of Ft 300 will be made to the charity.
