Microsoft Magyarország - using the "Photosynth" technology recently released by their global parent company - has created a virtual copy of Árpád Fesztys monumental panorama painting of the Magyar tribes arriving in the Carpathian Basin, reports origo.hu.

The virtual copy of the painting, which is exhibited at the Ópusztaszer National Historical Memorial Park can be seen online here.

The software Photosynth is able to recreate a view using a number of photographs taken at the same location. Users can click from photo to photo and zoom in on details to see the view as the photographer did.
