'08 Sziget Festival to be shorter but with '07 prices
The organizers of Budapest's popular Sziget Festival have opted for a shorter but "stronger" event next year, tabloid Blikk reports. They will shorten the festival from eight days to six days but will keep prices the same.
The budget for the festival will be better spent on six days rather than eight, said the organizers, who plan to concentrated on spending money on bigger stars. Further, fewer days means less money will be spent on technical and other expenses, so the ticket prices won't be raised. Individual tickets and week passes will be sold for 2007 prices; daily tickets were €30 (Ft 7,700).
