Hungarian police target brothels
Arrests made as call center for prostitutes also shut down by cops.
The Hungarian authorities have closed down several brothels, one of which operated in a basement of a building on Andrassy Street in downtown Budapest, as well as a call centre for prostitutes, Nepszabadsag daily said on Wednesday.
As part of the operation, police conducted house searches in the capital and several places in other parts of the country, and made a number of arrests, the paper said.
It added that a well-known and established night-club owner in the capital known as R Kamillo was also taken into custody, charged with organising illegal sex services.
