Malév Cluj flight returns to Budapest
A Malev aircraft heading for Cluj Napoca returned to the Budapest international Ferihegy airport on Thursday night due to technical problems, a Budapest Airport spokesman told MTI on Friday.
The plane took off at 1135 pm but then turned back and landed safely short after midnight, said Karoly Szilagyi, without giving further details.
The aircraft with 22 people on board landed safely using only one of its engines two minutes after midnight, the National Disaster Management authority told MTI. Nobody was injured, the authority said.
