Until now, Budapesters who wished to be treated in the comfort of a private hospital had to travel to Telki, a vilage 19 kilometers from the city, where the Telki Private Hospital is located. But earlier this month, Budapest's first private hospital was opened by the Dr. Rose Medical Center earlier this month, ingatlanmenedzser.hu reports.
Interiors of the Dr. Rose Private Hospital resemble that of a five-star hotel.
The Dr. Rose Private Hospital is located in a modern office building on Roosevelt tér in District V where the firm earlier established a smaller medical clinic. The hospital's interiors resemble those of a five-star hotel, and each room has a separate, comfortable bathroom, air-conditioning, LCD TV, mini bar, safe and WiFi.
The hospital offers treatments in a range of areas including vein surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, plastic surgery and urology, with surgeries performed by Hungarian specialists. The hospital also operates an obstetrics ward called "MamaRose" which assists clients in family planning, birth and child care.
A birth at the Dr. Rose Prive Hospital costs Ft 590,000 (€2,100), while the same service costs ₤6,000 (€7,200) at a private clinic in London, the article points out. In comparison, clients of the Telki Private Hospital pay Ft 490,000 for a birth, and clients of the Róbert Károly Private Clinic pay Ft 250,000, but the latter sum does not include a hotel service.
