Hungary's most powerful computer unveiled

Hungary's most powerful computer to date was presented to the media at the Csillebérc centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences on Tuesday. It will research the genetic background to asthma, allergies and leukaemia.

 

The Ft 140-million device weighs 1,270kg and can perform 6.5 trillion calculations per second.
