Hungarian detectives seized five kilos of heroin from two Vietnamese men in Budapest, the National Investigations Bureau said on Monday.

During a house search after arresting the two suspects, police discovered 200 grammes of heroin, 100 grammes of marihuana and around 10 million forints (37,500 euros) in cash, the NNI told MTI.

The suspects were arrested on the street in the 10th district of the capital. The heroin was found on their person. A Serbian man was also arrested in the same district in connection with the two suspects.

The suspects have been placed in pre-trial detention.
