Patrik: Sidney is having some fun with you (though good for him).

Probably best to just pick up a copy of "PestiEst" - it's a free printed program guide that is very comprehensive, and aimed at the "youngs" - and look at the ads and see if they *seem* like something you are after.

I'd be more specific about venues, but most seem to not stick to one type of music. Be sure, however, to look at the Pestiside bar/club guide, which has a list of good places to party.

Some of the establishments next to tram stops play this music. They are called "italbolt" (maybe its a brand name i am not sure) and there are always lots of happy locals in them drinking and listening to "noise" music. It is cheap too which is so nice.

Where can I find a nice experimental/alternative/noise/indie-rock etc. live music venue in Budapest? Will be spending 4 days in Budapest next week and it would be nice to check out the local music scene.. Thanks!
