"Edward Albee 's one act play in English. Peter, who has an executive position at a small publishing house, is reading a book on a bench in Central Park on a sunny Sunday afternoon, when Jerry stops by, seemingly desperate to strike up a conversation, starts questioning him about his job, his literary taste, and his home life. At first Peter answers his questions in good faith, but soon grows impatient and he too wants to know more about the stranger. Of course, he might not be prepared for all Jerry has to say...The production features absurd associative acting based on the two characters' dialogue (or sometimes monologue). Disregarding Albee's static stage directions, the acting enhances or counterpoints textual effects, exploits inherent tensions and dynamics. The production has been staged about 25 times since its debut in 2003 (performed in Debrecen, Nyíregyháza, Szolnok, Budapest, Lublin(PL), and the 2007 EFOTT festival) and has been evolving ever since. The Zoo Story won best production, best actor and a special award for acting at the 2003 Debrecen International Festival of Drama in English."
