Wasabi (not to be confused with vegetarian paradise/purgatory Wabisabi) is Budapest's first kaiten "conveyor belt" restaurant chain, offering a biggish selection of smallish plates of sushi and other Japanese and Japanese-ish treats. While getting stuffed to your gullet with sushi for Ft 4,000 or so may seem like a no-brainer in Budapest, it isn't. For one thing, the sushi isn't the absolute best (though some pieces are both super-fresh and of unordinary origin) and you need to exercise great self-restraint, or you will fill up on all the deep-fried delicacies that crowd the belt. Also, note that in the Buda branch of the restaurant, not every table provides access to the trough, so when making reservations there make sure yours does. But while it may not be Top 33 material, it is certainly worth a visit.
