Just a note to say that as of August 2009 they automatically add on 15% for the service charge. The waiter was okay and the food was decently priced and very good, so we were okay with it.

Food was ok, but service not. The starter and dinner came as fast as lightning but when I ordered coffee I was ignored for 20 minutes. Some waiters passing by deliberately looked the other way. Finally when I got my waiter's attention, he told me "I quite forgot you, lady". And then I was brought wrong kind of coffee.

It seems that it is customary in Hungary that you are not served regular water with your meal without asking (and paying)for it. In the 40 celcius heat last week I found this quite surprising.

Nice place, big portions and not expensive

I would like to thank the restaurant stuff for the excellent dinner I had at this restaurant last Saturday. I am American but of Hungarian decent and enjoy cooking Hungarian food. The food in the restaurant was wonderful as well as the service.
