The food is just simply BAD -> Everything is gloupy. It's not worth going there.

Mind you, this restaurant has nothing to do with Taiwan. The owner is not from Taiwan, nor the chefs.

Nice environment versus other Chinese restaurants we've been to in Budapest (we've only been here a month). The food was good and the service was prompt and friendly. Food prices were a bit on high side, but I suppose your paying in part for the environment. Only negative experience was paying 2000HUF for two glasses of milk for the kids...a bit of a rip off. Would recommend otherwise...

Have had takeout from Taiwan twice and I can confidently state that this is the absolute worst Chinese food I have ever tasted in my entire life. No exaggeration. Simply dreadful. Don't waste your money on this place, there are numerous far superior Asian restaurants in Budapest.

Excellent. The best one not only in Budapest but in Hungary.
I would recommend it for everyone!

Yesterday I had a surprise in the main course. A gum elastic was found in the sauce and a couple of minutes later an ant was crossing our table.
OK, they said the food was for free and the owner (I happen to know Jimmy) said it was a shame on them, but still I would not recommend this place to anyone and I do not understand how the New Langzhou cannot be on this list...

What's the fuss with the Taiwan? When we tried it last weekend the food was just a step up from your average Kinai Gyors Etterem. Even the famous Dim Sum wasn't that great. For my money, Momotaro is much better food (and much friendlier!). Their new vegetable dim sum is pretty tasty too!
