Notes: The 50,000-square-meter, park-like square called Széchenyi tér is the public center of the town. It was probably developed from a large market next to the castle during the 18th century. The square is enclosed by palaces and hundred-year-old trees. Kárász utca, which starts at the square, is a popular pedestrian street and venue for events in summer.
