We are for the first time in Budapest and in our first hungarian dinner was entry in Polo Pub and we`ve find it immediatly very very good: for the music, the food, courtesy and for the staff friendly...
We return in Italy tomorrow, and think that we will our last hungarian lunch in Polo Pub!

So hesitant to say what I really think of this bar...for fear you will all go there and it will lose its delightful charm! Every Monday this brilliant Hungarian band plays authentic American blue grass. I couldn't help but square dance in the micro space available between the fiddler and the tap. What I loved most is that no one smoked that night in this cozy place, making us the privileged audience members to what felt like our own private concert.

Nicely furnished smoky bar. There's a good "Irish Red" (650 Ft/pint) on tap there that I have not seen anywhere else in the city. The food is typical Hungo pub grub.
