Hi, I am leading a stag trip to Budapest later this month. The city seems to have an endless amount of bars so I was wondering if you have any recommendations some bars / clubs for stag trips???
Not a food critic
So far (2 years), this ranks in my top 3 favorite places to eat in Budapest. The service is always outstanding, the food and portion sizes are spot on. The menu, unlike most places in Budapest isn't the size of a small novel, and the size of the place gives Fausto a comforting and relaxing feel that I haven't felt in most restaurants.
For me, it's a place for a treat, for someone visiting or for a birthday etc.
I ate there twice, and realy one of the best food in BP. If you don't understand the fusion food stay by the goulash...
I ate there twice (just to give it another chance) but the food is AWFUL! They are trying really hard to be on a Michelin-level, but can't even get the basics right. ->Waiters are dropping stuff, mix up dishes in the kitchen, undercooked food, dirty plates.. etc DON'T GO THERE! If you don't have tastebuds you'll love it, because it looks fancy-shamcy and is a RIP OFF!
i agree this food was ridiculously horrible. the fish was undercooked, the risotto was horrendous, and the scallops were disgusting. I do not understand how people believe that this place could be remotely "tasty". Save your money and drink beer and/or some hungarian wine. Seriously.
I was there in the same day, its beautifull! One of the best food in the town. really perfect fusion style. Chef is GREAT
what do you eat???
Only if you aware that your Fendi bag should match your Gucci sunglasses. For fashion victims only! The food is outrageous! Dishes look grea but tastes like nothing ( and than you were lucky...) !

Good for you James. Anything else you'd like to share with us?
I am moving from Thialand to Budapest in July. I have coached football for 17 years in Oregon, along with track & field. My wife will be working at AISB. Jim
