Most is awesome, great atmosphere and really nice waiters, great food and it's brilliantly decorated! (We had the Cajun chicken salad and the tuna steak and they were both delicious!) I also had an "Old-fashioned" (any "Mad Men" fan should understand ;)

A good middle-range bar. The chef actually is from the Orient so the oreintal food has at least a nod towards authenticity (unusual in this city) and the clientele is varied and multinational.

As for the smoking and service...well, this is Hungary and not California, enjoy yourselves anyway (who wants to live forever/be treated pleasantly by everyone you meet) ;)

I agree CtotheT. I liked it, but the smoke... I actually developed a lung infection from the place before Christmas. It is so smoky I think they capture the air from the extractors of a dirty Albanian bar and ship it into this place.

Otherwise pretty good.

It's a great place but the guy who seems to be the manager has a major attitude problem. He seems to treat everyone equally badly, both guests and staff alike. Overall, without this guy, the bar would be a very welcome addition to the Budapest bar scene and great to have it in District VI, which has lost out to VII in recent years as the nightlife centre of the city.

It's a great space with very decent food, but c'mon - can we just have 1 bar in this city with matching furniture? I get it... we're Budapest... we're funky... but this hodgepodge decor has become incredibly cliche of Budapest drinking holes. The only other issue is the amount of smoke - I had 3 heavy-smoking Hungarians tell me they didn't want to go there because the place was too smoky. I left and my clothes smelled like I just walked out of a Cuban poker game. This place has a tremendous amount of potential, so management, if you're reading this... just please open a window or get some air purifiers.
