Went there last night impromptu. Really excellent service. Food was good if a bit pricy but that's standard for the area. We liked the decor. Nothing to complain about really; the earlier comments here didn't seem to apply now.

6 of us showed up to this empty restaurant at 5:30 on a weekend. They turned us away saying it wasn't dinnertime. Go to Shakespeare next door, where they are happy to have you (and the food and service are good).

Just awful.....wine by the glass with less than 1 inch of wine and cold entree. should have known when I was told it was "trendy"

Lots of mixed feelings about Mokka. We once were so distraught over its insanely long and arbitrary menu that we thought a psychiatrist was in order. But the patient seems to have improved nicely over time. This is certainly the case during lunch on weekdays, when a nice selection of decent and very reasonably priced specials is available. Still, we think the place could do with more focus and less concept.
Know of a company, service, place or some other item that should be included in the Caboodle directory?

But the food was tasty (we were celebrating, so we wanted a nice lunch), though overpriced, and the service was decent, though I wonder how they would have been if we had called them out on the lunch menu. We won't go back, because there are plenty of other restaurants in Budapest where the staff is honest.
