Notes: A memorial was erected at the burial site of the Mohács battle for its 450th anniversary in 1976. The park's statues commemorate the 28,000 Hungarian soldiers who were killed in the battle. Among the mass graves, there are wooden statues of King Lajos the Second, Pál Tomori, Dorottya Kanizsai, Sultan Suleiman and many nameless warriors. They are the works of sculptors József Király, Sándor Kiss, Pál Kő and István Szabó Jr. A fountain depicting a broken flower created by Gyula Illés stands in the yard. The memorial was designed by architect György Vadász.
