We were here, the service and setting are still remarkably friendly and serene, but the food was not reamrkably good or interesting. I would consider a removal from the Top33 list.

Aside from Páva, this is probably the best major hotel restaurant in Budapest right now. What we like about Le Bourbon is its mercifully brief menu of alluring and well-prepared provençal faves, as well as other dishes from the hotel's mother land. The service and setting are also remarkably friendly and serene. The only thing we'd suggest is losing the tables in the foyer leading to the main dining room, which always seem empty, and steal from the atmosphere. The somewhat institutional feel that this and some other features lend the room give us no choice but to put it on Top 33 probation. Still, it's very good.
