Interesting menu, decent food, and friendly service. Seemed to be missing a certain something to make it special, but certainly good enough for a quick lunch.

Great food, especially for the price. Seating is not great, but the food makes up for that completely. The chicken breast was perfectly done and juicy. Big portions and nicely presented on the plate. Very good value for money! Would advise this restaurant to everybody who wants a tastfull dinner for a low price in a nice environment with good service.

Gone downhill and fast - might be worth trying again when they return to form

Very charming in some regards (the menus are adorable) the "Stone Soup" offers a range of decent Hungarian staples and international dishes, including several options for vegetarians. Unfortunately, the seating is a bit awkward, and the service a little uncertain. Interesting people-watching, though - the crowd can be savagely boho-hip. Note that the basement often features live performances of one kind or another.
