What are people talking about. My wife and I both loved the restaurant. The food was well cooked, not over spiced nor over salted. Service was helpful and prompt, even though the waitress had to climb up and down the stairs to the upper floor with the food. The price was higher than we would have liked for dinner - rice was not part of the entree - but the two rices we had with the chicken korma and the chicken kashmiri were first rate and large servings. This is one of the better Indian restaurants we have eaten in - including several fine ones in Hong Kong. Compared to another Indian restaurant nearby which is poor, this is a fine and delightful eating experience.

I had dinner in Kashmir recently and got a horrible bill (again) at the end. Food was more or less okay, but everything was overpriced! One bottle of bier was 850 and normal white wine (2dl) was st. 1100. It's more a place for tourists who don't know the local prices. Otherwise service was slow and inaccurate, so I really don't recommend this restaurant. For the same money you can get a very nice diner in a proper restaurant!

Changed for the worse. Dhals mediocre, service not bad. Not sure I want to come back. There is something happening with this place, and I don't like it.

Slow and unreliable service, mediocre food. A10% tip was included in the bill. :(

you HAVE to try the paner chef special.. it's simply beautiful!

The lunch menu is good value for money, but service is terrible. It is slow, and when we asked for the bill, the serving waitress got a phone call on her mobile so she was not able to bring it for a few minute. And this just in front of us

I found the restaurant to be ery good, the food was amazing.
The ambiance and the music was great as well. service was Ok, Kind but nothing special. will be back though for sure. and I hear that they have a good lunch menu

We have been going to Kashmir for a while and have always found it nice. The food was good, particularly dhals and naans (gralic and butter naans are great!). The service was alwyas OK, the owner friendly. BUT, there is always a but (with on t). Two/three weeks from now, my wife and I went there, had great dhals, nice rose, but were disappointed with was going on during our dinner. The waiter (maybe the headwaiter) punched an aparently drunk guest in the face a coupl of times. The guy started bleeding all over the place and shouting. Then he started breaking things. The waiter who started it went to the kitchen. After a while, the who was punched left. The punching waiter, who happened to be serving us, came back to collect our money. He didn't apologize, just said that was the best way to deal with guests who didn't want to pay. The experience was not nice. We are thinking if ever to go back there.
