Very expensive - Smoke everywhere - Pizza is not the best one

Rubbagio, regarding the mixed grill there, yeah, I'll concur, the chicken is well overdone, but, to be honest, i wouldn't get grilled chicken breast anywhere. Try there steak dishes, with the gorgonzola sauce, the Pepper sauce, or straight. Also, if you're lucky, they'll have Argentinian steak in, which, unfortunately, is rather rare, but man oh man, 5500 Huf, simply divine. Seriously, for beef lovers i don't understand all the hype regarding pampas. Terrible "Creamed Spinach", horrible climate (too cold or way tooooo hot), and again, they still don't understand what rare/medium rare is. Had a steak there Rare, it was served Pittsburgh style (Black and Blue). Get the steak at The Terrace, you won't regret it. Oh, Make sure you get it with the Puree Zaffarone (Saffron Mashed Potato)

Rereading the posts here, and to be honest, i think some of you are a bit, well, stupid. Remembering for a minute, that we're in Budapest, not in Italy, or New York, etc, and then tell me again that the pizza is "pretty typical of Tuscan pizza", since, as we all know, there's just so much great pizza in Budapest, right? I mean, hey, Okay Italia, or the numerous other crap pizza places have better pizza, right? And the pasta, again, tell me more places that offer the same price point, with the same quality, hmm, not much, unless, again, you wanna go to Okay Italia. Lets keep in mind where we are please.

Oh, one more thing, their steak, please, it destroys Pampas. I was there twice, never going back. Overpriced, underdone, complete garbage. I'd rather go to Culinaras and get steak their and cook it myself.

I can't see why this place made it to the Top 33 at Pestiside.
It's a disappointing experience.

Now my second time eating there, I appreciate the attempted authenticity of a Tuscan restaurant. The menu, setting, wine list all were very well done. But the food was only slightly above average and I would say is typical of Italian food outside of Italy. The pastas I ate were quite good but not worth the price. The mixed grill was horribly over cooked. The pizza was pretty typical of Tuscan pizza, which is no where near as good as Neopolitan pizza. The Calzone is exceptional though. 7/10

Overrated and unjustifiably expensive. Deserves a 'Fair' rating.

Without a doubt the finest Italian in Budapest. To paraphrase the old adage, "if you want real Chinese food, look for where the Chinese eat" applies here as well. The customers are usually a mix of Italians and some locals. The manager/host is always pleasant and attentive, and the food is just superb. I know that people are constantly talking about the steak at Pampas, but that steak doens't hold a candle to the Steak Fiorentina served here. 900 Grams, thick, on the bone, cooked on a wood grill, in a word, heavenly. Their pasta is amazingly delicate, and their pizza, My god, it was an epiphany to get pizza like that here in Budapest. As a native New Yorker, and I know that this is tantamount to blasphemy, but their 4 cheese pizza is as good as anything Carmine's in Little Italy has ever made.

The new Terzo Cerchio is a great venue and great food place.
Actually let me spend some words on their pizza...simply amazing...one of the best pizza ever...my first ? Ischia...

Actually, the new restaurant is just a new location - we went last night and the original was closed. The new one, which will be at Dohany utca 40, will supposedly open on May 12. Can't wait!
