Great food and not that expensive. Service was friendly, and as stated below, not pushy. They even talked me out of having a side salad. The dishes are big, tasty and filling. But the place was strangely empty. We were there from 8 until it closed at 11 and there were only another couple of diners. Real shame, but I guess that's what happens in a recession when you a little bit off the beaten path.

Go here only if you're old, rich, and really need your goose.

since I got hooked on goose stuff, fulemule has offered the goosest of all. (alright, not counting a surprisingly deli liver steak at the bock's). 5 stars.

Fülemüle - it means Nightingale
Food was excellent. Clients were families out for dinner rather than tourists. Owners were polite, friendly and non pushy. Shuts early - at 10, and by 10.30 we were the last ones there. Choose the front room if you can.

One of the few reasons I would cross the Atlantic and visit Budapest is to enjoy lunch and dinner again and again in the Fulemule restaurant. Simply the BEST!!
