An OK meal but nothing that would make me want to go back.

We've been there 3 times over the last 5 years, and witnessed a decline in the food portions alongside skyrocketing prices. (Not that Fausto's ever was inexpensive, but still...) Little extras, like the gratis sherbert that used to follow dinner, have been eliminated. The staff is as efficient as ever, but smiles rather less, and removes plates on occasion before they have been finished. We've officially marked Fausto off our future to-dine list, as they've clearly made a devil's bargain to offer a more "Westernized" meal.

This is the best restaurant by a long way in Bp for the last 10 years for sure.

This is a lovely restaurant and I have dined there three times is the last six months. The food is excellent, the staff are superb at their job and the decor and atmosphere of the place are spot on. If you only dine in one restaurant in Budapest, make it this one

In a city stuffed with Italian restaurants, Fausto's may be the best, and has been on our Top 33 from day one. It is certainly the most elegant Italian eatery in Pest, with food, service and an atmosphere that cannot be matched. Strong on fish, and with an encyclopedic wine list, it is a special treat for a romantic dinner or heavy-duty business affair.
