Corvintető
1080 Budapest, Blaha Lujza tér 1-2 (entrance from Somogyi Béla utca)
| ![]() |
Notes: Corvintető, which means the "Corvin roof," sits on the top of the communist-era department store formerly called the "Corvin." Note that there is a freight elevator that occasionally makes runs to the top manned by a lift operator who pours shots of Unicum, Hungary's national bitters.

I kind of like this place. Pretty simple, not too over-priced. Cheesy but fun disco. The roof bar is a great place to hang out in the middle of the night. The floor below does have a tendency to flood during cloudbursts. Hopefully they haven't closed for the winter yet.
