Save to My CaboodleNotes: This splendid Art Nouveau hotel on Kossuth tér, with its fanciful stained glass windows, winter garden dining rooms and air of faded splendor brings a little bit of Charing Cross station to the plains of Hungary. If it is cocktail hour, then stop in at the Genius Bar, formerly the hotel casino, which has been decommissioned and converted into something less potentially ruinous.

Has seen better days, but highly recommended. The rooms are huge, it is right on the beautifully restored town square and the breakfast room is enormous and truly bizarre. There are also two bars in the building.
