Notes: The Belgrade Cathedral, the Hungarian seat of the Orthodox Church, is a grand, burgundy hued building completed in 1764 when the Serbian community had become decidedly more prosperous. The Ecclesiastical Museum is housed separately behind the church and contains icons, clerical attire, alter pieces and other rich religious jewels.
